problem with fluorescence

Hello,

Everyone knows if matrigel or poly-lysine or other matrix can interfere with fluorescence? I see no marking in my cells, but i know they express a good ammount of the protein. These are suspension cells, so i need a coating to perform immunofluorescence. DAPI or Hoechst is clearly visible, so I can't explain what happened. I have no doubt about the antibody because i used it on adherent cells, and it worked very well.

Please help.
